ConfigureTech,
Inc. was formed in January of 2006 to develop and provide an easy to use search
and selection software product for internet retailers selling application
specific automotive aftermarket accessory products. The principals, Ray Sherman
and Mike Behr, offer a unique blend of automotive aftermarket knowledge and
experience combined with state of the art computer programming capabilities. The
first product offered by ConfigureTech is Basic AutoLink.lookup. The Basic AutoLink.lookup
product provides the internet retailer with a
seamless link to manufacturer's application specific data, identifying the correct
part number for a particular vehicle, and then if chosen by the consumer,
passing that part number and data directly back into the internet retailer's
shopping cart. The manufacturer's data is organized, managed and hosted by
ConfigureTech, thus eliminating the need for the internet retailer to both
manage the manufacturer's data and develop some type of part number lookup
system.
In early
2007 ConfigureTech began offering a more advanced version of Basic
AutoLink.lookup called AutoLink.lookup WASC
(With Advanced Search Capabilities). The new more powerful product is capable of
searching across multiple manufacturers/brands, product categories and product
types.
AutoLink.lookup WASC can be used to present, search and
select the entire product offerings of an etailer. It's available as functioning
software only or fully loaded with data and presentation pages.
